8th Ave. and 34th St.

Another angle offering a wider view of one of my favorite intersections in NYC. Maybe it's the fact that it's less appealing at night than Times Square or maybe it's just that the diner that is on the corner behind where I'm taking the shot is one of my favorite midtown spots to eat after hanging out at a bar conveniently located only three blocks south of this location.  Maybe it's the train station one block away that gets me home in 15-20 minutes while the subway offers a 40-50 minute ride.  I don't know what it is.  Maybe it's just the iconic Empire State Building.  I just like it here for some reason.
